2006 Turbo S Tire Size Question

2006 Turbo S Tire Size Question

I'm looking to pick up some winter tires (20"). Any reason why 265/50/20 wouldn't fit a 2006 Turbo S w/sport techno wheels?

They will fit but your rolling diameter will be off by a large amount. Best to use a 275/40/20 tire. I am using that size on my '09 GTS. Tires are Michelin Latitude Alpin.

You could go to a 275/45/20 tire also with just a little increase in the rolling diameter, but a 265/50 would be too far off.

So you're saying it wouldn't work?

Nevermind -- yah, just checked and the diameter increases by 5.82%. I guess anything more than 3% isn't recommended.

I ru 275/45/20 with zero issues Looks a bit better than the recommended 275/40 size

I ended up ordering a new set of these today. They should be here in a week. What are your driving impressions of them?
