Thanks, and that would explain why i could not find anything. The exhaust I have sounds great... was just curious about the spec on it.

What putter did is known as a "gundo" hack per previous P car owners stepping forward to explain.

Its a simple by pass of the muffler, you can go straight pipes or side step around the muffler to conceal the hack .

I think its a great solution,, wonder if an x pipe would work or does this make it one big x pipe?

If you click on the link I have above the video it should show some pics of the install. It wasn't the "best" install but is mostly hidden. Basically a pipe that runs from before the muffler to after it on each side. As cordsig put it the "gundo" hack. It has been used for quite some time in the 911 arena so this is simply the Cayenne version of it

Thanks! The turbos are definitely evident and I've been told it sounds like a jet when taking off. In a good way...

No intakes yet but I'm sure it will only help the sound once I go that route!

Ah, I was wondering what the "official" name of the mod was! Good to know.

There is a HUGE difference in how the bypass pipes sound from inside and outside the vehicle. Inside the vehicle, they add a nice growl and sound pleasantly aggressive with hard throttle applications. From outside, however, they are very loud and raspy sounding with hard acceleration. Under hard acceleration, you will DEFINITELY draw attention. And that means good and bad attention. They do make your truck feel more responsive. Not sure about the mileage improvement, however. It definitely doesn't hurt mileage.
