Exactly why i'm hesitating in using him. He might be carrying old product. He said that the 3m product doesn't come wide enough to cover the complete hood.

Choose the clear bra installer wisely. This industry has seen quite a high turnover rate through the recession. Many companies add it to their existing business (whether it is window tint, audio accessories, etc.). Either way, there are far fewer experienced companies than 5 years ago.

Do not rely on a self proclaimed "custom" installer for it to come out the way you want. Take a look at the finished product on another vehicle done by the installer and judge it by results. Many "custom" installers produce results that are sub-par from an experienced precut kit installer. Hope this helps!
