Hmmmmm - that's tough as most C's major upgrades are big deals like:

> Phone over PCM
> Air Suspension
> "S" package on the turbo
> Rear comfort package (zoned air and heat for the back seats)

I have looked into all of those for my C and a retrofit is a big fat no-go.

Some of the factory options that you can easily address are:

> Alumi-look grills
> Interior trim (trim, wheel, shifter)
> Skirts, rear valance and tips
> Mud Flaps (UGG - dont!)
> Caliper appearance (go red over stock silver)
> Roof racks (love my rails)
> Factory rear window shades ( you can go 2 routes with that option)
> Rear cargo options (nets, hold downs, beverage cooler)
> Factory sport exhaust (although the after market stuff is better)
> Clear market lenses (that's a MUST)

Me personally - go for the easy and cheap stuff first just to get you used to hacking up your Porsche.

1. ALL LED interior lights - looks amazing (see my pic below)
2. Clear marker lenses (snag em from bumperplugs.com)
3. Clear turn signal bulbs so that your headlights don't look like fried eggs.

All that will cost you less then $200.

Here is my interior with LEDs:

Hey roxboxxx, very curious about this LED swap here... Do you have the lights in the armrests in the doors? and if so did you change those? really looks good but don't want to change them if the armrest stay amber.

There ya go. I do think it's kind of crazy to have them so far up there and hard to get to. Definitely not my favorite P-car design.

All - I will try to post a tutorial / overview this weekend (friday night) with the links for where I bought all bulbs.

for now, i have replaced (with LED):

1 - all interior bulbs with exception to the arm-rest mood lights.
2 - License plat bulbs
3 - Side mirror illumination bulbs.

Overall it was something like 38 bulbs ! The interior just keep sucking up bulbs and every time I thought I got them all, I found another.

Stay tuned - just super biz until Friday.

Its that dang stealthy ergonomic porsche industrial design. Im sure theres several board members or their wives who assumed the tiptronic was volume control and maybe even attempted to "turn" the volume down and got a sudden loud down shift followed with internal puzzlement.......

Roxboxxx, Love your LED interior bulbs. Were they easy to install? Also, do they look bluish? I'm looking for LEDs on the white side.

White as white can be - no blue. Stand by for a dedicated thread where I will post all info (tomorrow).
