Okay, this is getting far too complicated.
Tell her that since you're paying for the damn thing, she'll get what you decide to buy her. Period.
Then buy the turbo. If she complains, or she shows a lack of appreciation for the $115k SUV you just bought her out of the goodness of your heart, trade it in and get her a $35k Hyundai Sante Fe.
Done.

I live in Austin and Im a WASP. I have been dating a leftist hippy chick now for 3 years. She regularly volunteers, donates blood, eats vegan, and does a financially unrewarding job of teaching at an alternative school..........life dream......sheesh...
She HATED the fact when she found out I owned a Porsche, let alone a gas guzzling Cayenne. After the first road trip and I avg 25 mpg plus and the ride.....she pushed back the rage.
Now after 3 years shes begging for me to give her my Cayenne and I go get the Turbo Cayenne........and shes even trying to find a Boxster or Cayman priced in her limited financial means.......
So.......remind the wife not everyone is as lucky as she maybe!!! There are needy ladies out there from all spectrums that do not have the opportunity to own a Porsche let alone Cayenne, let alone a Freakin Turbo >
