Just got a letter in the mail saying that Porsche Canada has extended the warranty period on the ignition coils on my 2006 Cayenne S!! My vehicle is out of factory warranty...I called the dealer and they told me the ignition coils will be covered for an additional 2 years or up to 160K!! Thought that was pretty cool!!

I asked about the coolant pipes, she said it definitely is a problem and Porsche is aware of it, but no extended warranty for that as of yet!!

 

wow that's great news... I didn't receive anything in the mail yet... which model years are covered?

 

I put the letter in the car so I have a look, but from what I remember it said from 2004-2006 models!! To be honest I was pretty impressed once I read it...hopefully my coils go now so that I can get them replaced...unless someone out there has a bad set they want to give me!! LOL
