Ya they wanted to charge me a number MUCH higher, but I just said no.
Not with what I am spending, you can eat the cost.
end result, they are eating a few grand.

Oh well.

Just want it protected. Weather here isn't bad at all, just did it bc it's an option. better to be safe than sorry.

Jace, we all still vividly remember that thread when we all debated back and forth on the interior for your MG exterior. I am so pleased with the end results and am extremely happy for you. Masterpiece is the way to put it. Well said. I love the wrap job and the final choice of interior rather than the U/T. You got to tell us about PCCBs. How are you likin it. BTW, which dealer did you get the CTT from. CTT is the best performing SUV one can ever get as of today.

The last two days before I pick it up are the hardest.
I went through park place Porsche in Dallas TX off of
Mockingbird.

I will go through them for my next and my parents as well if the final days and closing go as expected.

Excited to feel the breaks sensitivity and stopping power!

Lovely interior :-)
The umber/cream combo is the most elegant one in my opinion, especially with a grey exterior
I really wanted to get it,but was not courageous enough since I did not believe I could keep it pristine the way it should be..so I chickened out and got a black interior
I also ordered the PCCBs on my CT cause I had them on my 997tts..and I found their stopping power as impressive as its acceleration, loving the confidence it gave me...pretty cool to know you can brake at the last minute, later than most cars..Also,I am sure I will get plenty of use out of them on the autobahn

The last days of the wait for my pepper are bittersweet..exciting cause I will soon get to enjoy an awesome ride to the fullest..but therefore also difficult, cause I would like to be driving it...
...NOW

Beautiful Jace... Can't wait to hear your driving impressions.

Those are definitely the 18 way sports seats like I have in my CS. I can tell you though that they are the best seats I have ever been on. They look and feel a lot better IMO.

YUP 18 way seats are installed, my sales associate checked and told me I was correct.
He says this is very odd.
His paperwork shows ordered 14 way seats ordered, but somehow when we changed the color from tartufu to cream that something got messed up.
On the sticker it doesn't show either 14 or the 18 way seats.....odd.

So two questions.
For those of you that have your window stickers does it show what seats are installed on the sheet?
Second, what to do?
I told him worst case is I drive home find they are too stiff and want them replaced.
Best case, I love them and want the mistake to stay with the car....

How are they on LONG drives compared to the 14 way seats?
How are they for your wives to get into them with the higher side bolsters?
How will they be for me? I am 6ft 2 in and 200 lbs.

hmmmmm

He says he has a call into Porsche and they should stand behind their mistake but what now...
He says he'll have an answer as to my options when I get there tuesday.

thoughts??

That's a tough one, Jace- sorry to hear about the mistake. At least it sounds like they'll work with you on it. Still not a good feeling I'm sure...

As far as my sticker, it does have the 14 way seats, but probably because it's an upgrade on my model. The 18 ways are standard on the CTT, maybe that's why it doesn't explicitly show?

Hard to say what you should do, you're spending a lot and need to be happy with what you have. I love my 14 way seats, but those who have the 18 ways seem to love them as well. Maybe try them and see how you feel after some wheel time? I'd like to hear the options Porsche will offer you.

Good luck!

18 way seats are the way to go unless you/your wife can't fit into the seats. Usually we sit on the seats. Here we sit into them. Very comfortable on long drives. If its not a good fit have your dealer change it for you. Don't worry.

Rear seats hold car seats comfortably with the lower bolsters on thighs?
Or will they dig in and leave leather marks when notched down.
