ok_computadora is infamous around these parts
2012 Turbo and Turbo S

Turbo is going to have 535HP and Turbo S is on its way for 2012. Way to stick it to us early adopters with big changes in 1 model year.

Isn't it the same power kit available for the Panamera turbo(which cost 17K) or the same engine as the Panamera turbo s?
A bit overpriced for what you get,if I may say so
If I am putting that kind of money for more power, thats exactly what I expect:more...
For a fraction of that money I will get my ecu flashed, upgraded intakes and exhaust for an added 100hp hopefully
Not to mention that I am delighted to be able to enjoy this totally redesigned beast...NOW

General rule of thumb - never get the first model year of any new generation vehicle.

I think it's good they are starting to make shorter model runs to keep up with the competition.

+1 for that ... but just could not resist breaking that rule just this one time. Come to think of it, my second gen 997 was also the first year of the "new 997" . Now that I've broken the rule twice, I am hoping the Porsche gods are kind to me/and all other first year owners.
