I have been playing nothing but DVD-a's on my B...clear crisp sound all the way to bleeding ear level,amazing separation and details..however,not all of them are remastered correctly,and some actually don't sound any better than an mp3 coming from my ipod...
Today for the first time i plugged in my ipod,and was pleasantly surprised how seamless the connection was made and was blown away by how great even my mp3's sound.just listened to Crosby&Nash:"Southbound train" in mp3 format:wow
So far every mp3 listened to sounds wonderful..great news,especially after reading all the negative reviews about the way they would sound on the B:to me it really is impressive how the B handles and amplifies an average source

 

that is impressive actually. it's rare to find a system that does that. do you know if the B bypasses the ipods built-in DAC? if it does i'd be blown away... though i'm 99% sure they wouldn't have taken the time to do that.
