My vehicle is still in the break-in period (1,600 kms.) and I dont drive it hard (I dont think I ever will, I just love it so much!).

I noticed the engine temp is normally just shy of 80C mark. Yesterday after a nice 30 min. drive as I was getting ready to switch the vehicle off, I noticed the temp. was higher than 80C (seemed 1/4 of the way between the 80C and 120C mark) i.e. probably at 90C.

Is this ok?

I dont drive it hard, no more than 4,000 rpm, if at all and if so, only for a few seconds.

Tell me this is normal and I am just being paranoid about the overheating.

Wait, actually, tell me the truth about normal temps. should be and whats the maximum permissible before I can take the car in for inspection.
