I installed Fabspeed bypass pipes on my 05 Cayenne S this past February. Loved the exhaust note, but not the rattle.

Well, fast forward 4 short months and the CEL is on, running ruff, etc. The shop that installed em told me today that I've got a crack in the flex pipe connected to the cat.

Seriously?!?!

 

I'll bet the shop who installed them has something to do with it. You have to take care not to put too much strain on the flex pipe during the install. They may have installed it a bit ****eyed too which could cause this or a motor mount is on it's way out which allowed too much torque to transfer to the exhaust.

Nothing like being caught between a shop and a manufacturer pointing fingers @ each other...with the customer (me) caught in the middle
