As I was driving home the other day. I recognized a cayenne heading towards me but the had LED headlights. The led's were inside a normal cayenne headlight but configured like the Porsche 918 rsr. I was so mesmerized by this I didn't see what year it was. Is this something new? Or clearly an aftermarket product? Is was very overcast early Saturday morning. So not sure how bright and efficient these 4 "projector LEDs" are. But it looked high tech and not cheesy like the Audi r8 wannabe headlights you see on everything now a days. (I love the Audi r8 and it's headlights, just not all the other Audi models with those LEDs)

 

The 2011 Cayenne Turbos and Panamera Turbos have the 4 LEDs in the headlight lens. They are not used for the main beam. They still have the Xenon bulb for the headlight beam.

It very well could have been. I was on the fwy with that particular cayenne heading in the opposite direction. I just remember seeing 4 LEDs configured like a 4 on dice. Very slick

 

EASTERNLI, is that your turbo in the attached picture?
If so, what the hell is up with the cover over the front badge?

Nope its a picture I pulled off of a google search, only one I could find with the turbo headlight LED's. I think it was a pre production tester which is why it had tape over the badge.
