Bought a 2012 Cayenne S from the same place (Parkplace Texas) I bought my Carrera S more than a year ago. I thought that the 911 would be IT for me. Then, I decided to shop for another SUV to replace my aging Chevy Suburban. I wasn't planning on owning another Porsche. But my mom, who happens to be visiting for the Winter reminded me how life is "too short" and to get the SUV that I really want.

Well, I originally wanted a Range Rover HSE and had already signed up for a 2-day Land Rover Driving Experience course in Vermont this month. But after researching and comparing both SUV's side by side (Yes, the Porsche Cayenne S is NOT a Land Rover, and not as off-road savvy as the LR), but I was ultimately swayed and pulled the trigger and contacted my sales guy who sold me my 911.

It will be delivered here in less than 2 weeks. Canceled my upcoming Land Rover Driving class yesterday.
