need wheel advise

Hey Guys,

I got a 2008 Cayenne, considering new wheels but not sure what size to get and what type of wheels.

Any suggestion? I would like to have the ability to drive over curbs, some easy off roading at times and remain comfortable ride. So 22" wheels might not work for me.

What type of wheels should I consider?

any help would be great, thanks,

Stick with 20's. If you are really going off road then stick with 18's. I live near Philly(potholes) and have no issues with 20's but my truck doesn't go off road.

I agree with the previous comments on 18" wheels. I drop down to 18s for my winter tires because of increased numbers of potholes, etc. My summer wheels are 20", and I wouldn't recommend those for off-road use. 18" wheels are a good choice because they are big enough to clear your brakes, there are lots of tire choices in this size and they give you more rubber sidewall than a low profile tire.

You can find many OEM Porsche 18" wheels for sale on eBay, Craigslist, etc. Many people take them off of new Cayenes because they want something bigger. I picked up a set of four 18" takeoffs at my local dealer for $500. They were in "as new" condition.
