I am having some issues launching my pepper. Best I can get is in the 2.4 range. I have a secondary cat bypass and no rear mufflers (no tune). Is there a reason I am unable to build boost off the line? It seems if I hold it too long, the car just shuts down and I have to start over?

What are the best 60' times you all have seen / gotten in these things?

 

Best 1.7 60, otherwise 1.9. Stock no mods at all, 2.1 was the best I could do.

 

2.0 is the best I've done. Brake torque to about 1200 rpm, then floor it when the first or second amber comes on then let go on the last amber (helps reaction time as well). Anything else just resulted in 2.1 or slower in my case.

 

Hey Sinister...I haven't tried to build boost off the line and launch my CTT yet. But I will say this... I put a MBC on my CTT and it builds boost much faster as well as light throttle response. I'm still tweeking the boost controller to get it where I want.

I assume you already do this, but you turn off the PSM and manual shift it? I would think this motor and these little turbos..we should be able to launch these pigs like a rocket.
