Porsche Extended Warranty?

Hi Everyone,

We bought the 08 Cayenne S in Dec 07 so factory warranty is about to expire.

Questions, please:

1. Does Porsche offer extended warranty and is it worth it? Should I go to a local dealer and inquire?

2. How about a 3rd party warranty? Which one should I go with?
Thank you, all for any help you could provide.

I have the CPO with Porsche and if you can get extended warranty from them get it. I had a 3rd party warranty with a Benz and was very disappointed - things weren't covered, there were copays - had to use remanufactured parts etc etc. Definitely try to get the manufacturer warranty.

Porsche will not sell you a cpo. You have to buy a third party. Do your homework before you do, as quality and prices of what you buy varies a lot. A lot people just take their chances.
