New to the Porsche Owner's Club!!
New to the Porsche Owner's Club!!
I'm excited to report that I've completed the German hat trick! Done the BMW M, Audi S, and Mercedes AMG thing a couple times on each count, but been holding out on Porsche. Life is requiring me to have a vehicle with a bit more utility....but not wanting to give up on the fun factor.
My new to me '09 Cayenne S should fit the bill perfectly! Truth be told, I've never been a Porsche fan (booooo, hissss, moan!!!) but for the last couple years, I've really been noticing all these Porsche cars with a stunning and uncommon silver exterior and caramel leather interior. It's not a combination I've seen from many other automakers....and where it has been copied, it's just not worked. I was actually in the market for an '08 GTS, but after seeing and driving this particular S, my need for the GTS went away. Well, when I saw this particular S, it spoke to me. I'm looking forward to the next few weeks of getting familiar with the new ride and several years of rewarding (and hopefully uneventful) ownership. Here's the particulars:
'09 Cayenne S
27K miles
CPO, Warranty Date: 12/1/08
Retail MSRP: $76K
Options:
*Crystal Silver Metallic $710
*Havanna/Sand Beige Full Leather $3170
*Sport Seats w/ Memory $1060
*Natural Olive Interior Package $1385
*Navigation $3300
*Bluetooth $695
*Light Comfort Package/Memory $610
*Rearview Camera $1680
*Moonroof $1190
*Trailer Couple $630
*Porsche 20" Cayenne RS-Spyder wheels $1000
*Brand new Michelin Latitude shoes $2000
I wish it had premium audio, but the stock Cayenne audio isn't too bad. I'm guessing the Bose system wouldn't hold a candle to the B&O or Logic 7 systems anyway, so this stock unit will work fine -- just need to get the iPod hook up figured out. I also wish it had PDCC, but the S's (and even GTS's) with PDCC just don't seem to be out there available on the market. I'm very happy with this truck.
