Not what I would normally do
Not what I would normally do
Normally, I would never do this:
I'm taking off my winter wheels and tires just now because I don't use my Cayenne alot these days.
I bought a set of snow tires late last fall because my Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow tires didn't have as much tread on them as I would like for here in the Northeast.
My Continental CrossContact UHPs have opnly a smidge of tread above the tread bar, and if I can get away with it, safely, I was thinking of using the rest of my rubber on the Scorpion Ice & Snow tires until the late fall.
I will only be putting about 3k miles on them since I will mostly ride my Harley.
I'd like to get away withot buying tires this year- next spring I'd buy a new set and dump the Scorpions.
I'm getting a little frugal as I age.

Wow, last week huh? I thought it was over even by you. What do you think about waiting for tires and burning up the old snows? I have to say, they are amazing tires, if it was a different tire I might not consider it.
