saw oil drop - help preliminary pd

I have not looked under ghere in detail yet, but I saw a drop of oil hanging from a part and think there may be oil leak. The pic was taken under driver front side one pic pointing straight up (vertical shot) and another pointing towards driver side (horizontal). Anyway, saw three drops of oil in garage so peeked under to see that. Any ideas on what sits above there, that could leak and cause dripping? There is possibility this oil traveled down chassis or something, but wondering if anyone with experience can give some guesses of possibilities. I will be taking a look asap but until then hope you can chime in to advise. I assume I will have to take off the bottom covers to see (or do you have ideas to advise where / how to pd this). Thanks in advance.

Give us a CLUE on what model (and perhaps YEAR) your P!G is.

You're asking for people to guess where your oil leak is (and YES - you do have a leak, and yes, you will have to at least take the belly pan off to find it) when we have no clue whatsoever what engine you have.

Some people are very good diagnosticians - but given the info you've provided, forgeddaboutit..

Its a 2005 ctt (cayenne turbo). 4.5 tt engine. Gonna take a look tomorrow I hope. Any info will be great. Thanks...lol totally forgot to mention engine/year. Just wondering , given the oil, and what engine parts are in vicinity, just looking for guesses. I know until I take a look, I won't know for sure. Thanks in advance.

Lots of stuff in that area that could be leaking. IIRC - the power steering pump is somewhere above that area, as is the power steering rack. The oil filter is a bit ahead of it on the car - but wind would tend to blow leaking oil back..

You really have to pull the diaper pan and see if the leak source is clearer. Just remember, gravity means the leak goes from higher to lower and wind forces on the car when it's being driven mean it's pushed from forward to rear.

The hose that goes from the turbocharger to the intercooler on that side is a very common leak.

Looks like I need to hit the service manual and try to get time on the car to inspect, np but the hose seems like an interesting proposal. Noticed after I wiped it, it did not reappear. Trying to gauge how profuse the leak is...so far oil has not accumulated back again but the wetness does give evidence of leak. Do not think it is power steering fluid...smell like oil.
Just as fyi, the area seemed clean until I noticed leak, around the same time I was trying to see the 0-60 times a few nights ago. Wonder is the few runs forced some oil out causing the 3 drops to come down. Good suggestions though and I will try to have a detailed look asap.

Bigbuzuki is infamous around these parts
+1 on the turbocharger intercooler hose.

You will find that this hose on the left side can have a cup of oil sloshing around inside it.

I get mine drained once a year to clear the hose.
