Did I Get A Good Deal - 2008 Cayenne GTS

Gents,

I deliberated for some time before committing to a 2008 Cayenne GTS CPO with 52k miles. I paid $41,000. It has sunroof/heated front seats and steering wheel/f&r park assist but no nav. It has the old school radio. It's basalt black metallic on black interior.

My second choice was a 2008 s with 47k miles for $38,400. It had 22 months left on the CPO / PCM 2.1 and an aftermarket Pioneer Avic z120bh / Factory GTS ground kit and 21 inch rims / Bose / F&R park assist.

It did however have a clearbra showing discoloration and all four rims had some type of rash. Brakes were at 65%.

Two questions... did I make the right decision and if yes, did I do good on price?

Sounds phenomenal. I paid $47.7k for my '08 CPO'd with 41k miles. Brakes had 65% left I assume?

Mine did come with all new rotors, pads, tires, major service, refinished (powder-coated) wheels, new steering knuckle (not sure why, but was replaced), some other odds and ends, just to pass CPO - $6948. On top of that they added front window tint, a clear-bra and it has rear seat DVD's.

Of course you know I'm now just trying to justify paying $7k more.

Did you happen to see the two GTS' at Rusnak? Both 08s and CPO, one with 28kmiles, the other with 36k miles, both gray and both recently sold. They seemed like good deals. I never got to check 'em out but I had my eye on them.

I did look at the rusnak ones but wasn't sold on the color.
In respond to s4treg the gts had new brakes and tires. It was the "s" that had the 65% brakes and clear bra issues. Now I'm learning all the nuances of the aftermarket nav complexities.

Despite the color, were the Rusnak GTS' nice cars and well equipped? BTW, congrats on your GTS!

Wow? Sounds pretty good IMO. Does 09 have PCM2.1? Not sure when it was upgraded...

PCM was upgraded with the '09 models to the touchscreen interface.

orangecounty, plenty of threads in here on aftermarket options to add bluetooth and ipod capabilities to the '08 and earlier models (Dension, mObridge, nav-TV, etc, etc). Good luck, and congrats on the acquisition!
