Thinking about Getting a Cayenne S...few questions

Hey I was looking at some dealer auctions and saw that you can get a 2004 Cayenne S for about 45-47k with about 20000 miles. How has the car been to you guys that have the car. What should i look out for. And also how is that for pricing.
Thank You

also i am looking at E500 4matic, BMW 545 and possibly the X5 any one have an unbias opinion?

I have an 04 with about 15k miles on it. No major issues...some minor ones, but for the most part I just bring it to the dealer to get fixed. I really like the Cayenne.

i love the cayenne.
It is one of the best cars i have owned minus minor glitches.
Wow! those are some nice prices. I would highly suggest this.
Looking at your sig, i think tis would be good car for u to have. i bet you will stop driving the HSE. I think the HSE is just total Class.

I would highly recommend the Cayennt S, I have driven a lot of X5 except for the 4.8is, and I have not riven a Cayenne Turbo either but comparing on X5 3.0,4.4. and 4.6 I would take the Cayenne S over those. On a tuning perpective there is just so much more you can do with the Cayenne than with the X5. Now as for the E500 I dont like most MB but I was just in my friends E500 and it has a lot of torque an its really fast for a non-amg model. After driving the E500 I would take it over the 545, I think its more elegant and has power to spare. The decision really is do you want a sedan or an SUV?

I've driven the E500 and the X5, and the Cayenne is way better.
I would suggest you look for the Porsche certified ones so it has 6yr 100K warranty. Other than that I have no issues with it and love the car.

SPIVY:

I have driven every car on your list. What are you looking out of the car? Just a dialy commuter, snow beater, etc? They are all good vehciles but each has their own issues. I would say the Cayenne is the bes SUV out of the group but it does have electronic gremlins that can be a pain. The X5 is more of a poseour SUV, but a nice car none the less. 545 is very nice to drive and ride in. Plenty of power but the looks are iffy. E500 is gorgeous and great commuting car.

They are the wheels that are stock on the 550 Barchetta. It is a option on the 360(Modular Wheels)

The only problem is the lag. But that is fixed as soon as you turn off PSM
