Whining 2004 Cayenne Turbo

I have a 2004 Cayenne Turbo with about 63K miles. The last few days I have noticed a high pitch whining coming from underneath the dash on the passenger side. It gets higher when I turn the AC fans up and stops when I turn them really low. Definitely sounds like a belt or a fan or something. Any ideas?

Could it be blower motor if this is related to speed you run AC with?

Yep - blower motor. I took mine out (relatively easy), cleaned it, and lubed the bushings. It lasted a few more months until it started locking up.

...lol... could it be because it was cleaned with WD-40?
Just kidding.
