are they the same width? or the second one wider??
or just the difference in color? one matt black and the other can be painted??

Looks like http://www.suncoastparts.com/product..._Code=955ttExt is the correct one for your 2006 Cayenne.

If you look at the flow chart menu, the first url is for 2007-2010 Cayenne (even though no MY 2007 Cayenne in US market), and the 2nd url refers to 2004-2006.

If you aren't still sure, I would call them to verify.
