We just moved down to the Bradenton FL area from Canada and need to find a good Porsche independent shop!! Could anyone give me any leads on good reliable shops in the area?? Much appreciated!!

If you are looking for a small honest shop I have been using Frank Polanco at MobileTech 941-925-2446. Very happy with the price and he seemed to be the most aware of common problems we have with Cayennes. He just has a no nonsense approach that I like. He even charges by the 1/4 hr.

A more elaborate shop would be Renn Haus (941) 922-3600 which I have heard is very good. They have a bigger shop and charge more for repairs.

My Auto Tech is another smallish shop that is quite honest but mostly does BMW and Mercedes repair. Not sure about their Porsche knowledge. I had them change my oil but they did some free dianostic work for me and other friends have been using them for years with nothing but positives.
