Part number confusion

Hi all -

I have a brake pad warning on my '09 GTS so I took it to a local independent shop for a quote. My plan was to use one of the suppliers mentioned in this thread for parts, but I asked the shop to include OEM parts in the quote for comparison. They listed the following:

7L0 698 151P - Front Brake Pad Set
7L8 615 301/2 - Left/Right Front Rotor
7L0 907 637 - Front Brake Pad Sensor

I didn't know anything about the part numbers at the time but I asked them to double and triple check that those were the Porsche OEM parts, and they were sure that they were. After some investigation here it seems that these are the Touareg part numbers? I know that some parts are shared between the vehicles, and I have also seen a post or two on this board that said brakes are shared and others that implied brakes aren't shared. I've utterly confused myself and can use any clarity you guys can provide.

Thanks in advance for the help.
