I completed a whole interior light upgrade (except the bulbs that light the red door lenses) on my 08 turbo. Everything works great except at night at the footwells. As you know, at night time the footwell lights dim down and stay lite when your headlights are on. My problem is that when they dim, the LED in the footwells start flickering on and off. I don't know what to do to make the footwell lights stay on and not flicker. When I turn the vehicle off and open the door, the lights brighten and don't flicker. They didn't flicker at all when I had the filament bulbs installed. Any ideas or suggestions?

 

Well, I answered my own question and hopefully will help others if they encounter the same problem. What I did was use the comfort lighting button above rear view mirror to adjust the lighting level - now lights don't flicker any more.
