Porsche Cayenne S 2006 0-100
Hi All.
My very first time on a forum. lol.
Recently bought a Cayenne S 2006. SPECS state that 0-100 can be done below 8 seconds.
I tried it and get it in somewhere between 10 and 11.5 seconds. Even visited the dealer to check whether I have a specific performance issue and tested a similar model with the same results.
what is your view of this ?
FYI : I am not at sea level, I have the vehicle in Drive and I do not change any of the standard safety settings i.e. traction control etc.

You might try switching off "Porsche Save Me" (PSM - ie stability control.) It will make the shift points much more aggressive. If that doesn't work - using the Tiptronic manual mode may get you closer. The transmission control unit on the Cayenne is adaptive, it learns how you normally drive and adjusts shift points to optimize itself. If you drive non-aggressively the trans control learns this and goes for fuel mileage... which isn't good for performance.
