I have an opportunity to buy a 2009 Porsche Cayenne 3.6. with 115k miles. How reliable are these cars? It has new brakes and up to date service. I am new to porsches and currently own 2 Lexus cars and a Mercedes. Thanks in advance for all the help!

Just say no....Repairs are extremely expensive. You've been warned

 

They are very reliable, but they can be expensive as noted above. Get a good pre-purchase inspection from a qualified Porsche mechanic. I wouldn't buy a Cayenne with that kind of mileage without full service records.

 

How cheap? Do you have the history of where it's been serviced? Get a PPI. They can be extremely reliable if you know the history and if the trouble areas have been taken cared for. Keep us updated.

 

Thanks for the response. What are things that usually go wrong on these cars? What should I look out for? I am looking at paying 19k for it. It has navigation too.
