Thinking Of Coming Back 09 CTTS

Hi all

After opting to sell my 955 CTT back in August rather than fixing her i am considering coming back to Cayenne ownership with a 2009 CTTS.

Being 2009 it has the new touch screen Nav, Bluetooth, GTS style seats etc but can anyone remind me of differences over the normal CTT from 2007 please? Engine upgrade & brakes i know about, what else is there?

I've read on here that 08 on are much improved, is that correct?

I went into Bentley ownership with a 2005 Bentley GT and am very disappointed, think the CTT spoilt me so cant help think the 2009 CTTS will be stunning to own and drive?

The car has PDCC, privacy, aero kit, 21" GTS style wheels and is black.

I think i need to pull the trigger quick.

Thanks

Carl

I'm not sure what other differences you'll find beyond what you mentioned. I would imagine that the brakes on the CTTS are PCCB - is this the case? I think there are also some minor suspension upgrades on the CTTS vs the CTT.

There were many tweaks on the 957 Cayenne Turbos including larger brakes 368mm (in the US, the MY09-10 got the CTTS 380mm Brembos - no PCCB standard), new 4.8 engine, direct fuel injection, larger intercoolers, PDCC, PCM 2.1, 3.0, taller gearing, different level control module, different DME and remapped TCU parameters.

The CTTS got a larger throttle body, intake manifold, and plenum. Revised primary downpipes, different driveshaft, different DME tune (higher boost), upgraded control arm bushings, and better brakes.

This is just what is on the top of my head...

In short, they did a lot to improve on the 955 platform. It was not a simple facelift. I personally do not regret getting a 957 over a 955. IMO, the value is definitely there.

Test drive a 957 and judge for yourself.
