05 Cayenne Turbo TOWING question - who all is towing toy haulers/campers?

I currently pull my wildcat with a small trailer and it pulls great. I am interested in purchasing a 16-20 foot toy hauler and the one I have my eyes on is a Carson 20' with a dry weight of 4300lbs. With the wildcat (1200lbs) and tools, water, etc, I will be 6000-6500lbs easily. Does anyone have experience pullling something this heavy including mountain driving, etc? I tow my wakesetter (5500lbs) and it does O...K...) and I know Cayenne's are rated to 7700lbs but the less stress the better obviously. I am just debating pulling the trigger on this 20 footer or looking for something smaller/lighter.

Any thoughts are appreciated. Here is the current combo. Cayenne turbo has EVOms intakes, secondary cat delete, muffler delete, colder plugs and tune.

I've towed close to the 7716lb limit a few times. I've got a 18' dovetail car hauler (21' total) that I haul my track car and other projects with.

Not my trailer in the picture, but I hauled my Eurovan (about 5200lbs) from NJ to Colorado.

Tows just fine. Add a nice brake controller and it tows better than my 3/4 ton dodge with the same load! Had to tow the van to DMV to get inspected so hooked the trailer up to my Dodge so I could put the CTT back in the garage. The CTT, goes, stops, and turns MUCH better with the trailer than the Dodge (same brake controller fwiw)

Jagman1 is infamous around these parts
I've put about 5K miles towing around a boat. Only thing I've done is change the diff/tranny/transfer case fluids. I also did the coolant pipes and recently the carden shaft bearing support, both of those items were done preemptively to avoid being stranded. It tows great, though I do wish it would be smart enough to start off in 1st gear when towing without having to do PSM off or shift manually. I'm at 103K miles now.

Funny, I used to have this exact same boat. 05' Malibu V-ride. Same color combo and everything. Threw a hell of a wake after I put in the 700lb bags in each of the rear lockers. Sadly I blew my knee out and 4 surgeries later only wakeboard once or twice a year at best.

Here's mine from back around 06':

I tow a 4600lb empty Bullet Premier 22 ft travel trailer with a brake controller with my 2004 ctt. No issues at all. Have 160k miles and have only done the typical replacement stuff along the way. The auto ride height makes nice leveling adjustment with 550lb torque weight. Most campers give me a double take when I tow it in.
