Durametric tool?
Durametric tool?
Just bought a "Enthusiast Durametric" for reason of resetting the service code and possibly allowing my PCM to use an LED license plate light.
I think I may need the Pro version to fix the plate light. Is this true?
Thank you,

Thank you,
I got the LED kit from Suncoast and did not have to change anything in my PCM to allow it to work. License bulb lit up just fine as well as all the other bulbs with no warnings.
The only issue I had with LED's is in the rear-passenger doors, if the puddle lights and (ones on the bottom of the door) and the side lights (on the lower side of the door) were LED, they would not shut off which resulted in a drained battery every week. Solution to this was to ensure that at least one of those bulbs was a standard-bulb.

Durametric did contact me and note that "they were not able to do this procedure even with the professional version on the Cayenne." They can do the tail lights on the 997 but, were uncertain on the Cayenne. I still would like to get the Pro version and see it for myself. I also have a 997 turbo so I can use this test for both cars!
