2006 cayenne xenon bulb

Hey guys,

So i have been searching around for a replacement xenon bulb because i got the
"check dipped beam" error. So I know that my passenger side xenon bulb is dead and I am wondering what bulb to replace it with.

1. http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...5S_LightsXENON

2. http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/...520(2008)%2520

now the problem i have is is it worth it to buy the genuine Prosche factory replacement from sunoast at more then double the price or is the Osram-sylvaina replacement part at pelican parts the same quality and can be used perfectly fine.

So if anybody who had experience replacing the dipped beam please let me know what bulb you used and if there is any major difference between the two bulbs.

Thank you

I believe any non-Asian copy D1S bulb will work. Lots of counterfeits, especially on ebay and some on Amazon. Buy from a source known to deal with original, German-made bulbs only. Pelican is good.

You should replace the HID bulbs in both headlights at the same time. HID bulbs change considerably in color temperature and intensity over their life.

Also - the dipped beam error could be caused by other things, so be prepared for some trouble shooting if the bulb replacement doesn't work.

So I ordered the bulbs from Pelican parts and they worked perfectly on my car! Also the shipping was amazingly fast, I ordered late in the afternoon on Feb 25th and I received them on the morning of Feb 28th!

I highly recommend these bulbs to anybody that is having the dipped beam error
