MPG with tune

I've read on multiple threads that people with tuned CTT were showing increased mpg in there durametric readouts.

Has anyone actually verified a mpg increase with a tune besides the durametric readout?

I noticed a decrease in MPG after my tune. Probably because my driving habits changed.
It is much more fun to drive now and can't keep my foot out of the gas! I get about 13 MPG since my tune.

I've not seen or heard of an increase in MPG after a tune. If it goes up, it's because the driver is shifting below 3,000 rpm and driving in a manner to increase MPG. The rest of us actually drive more spiritedly thereby accounting for the decrease (or staus quo) in MPG.
