Ignition or key issue maybe?

Ok so I have had my 06 cayenne turbo s for 2 weeks. It's been great until this morning. I go out to start it this morning and it doesn't even turn over. The fob works, the alarm beeps, but when I put the key in and turn it, the porsche logo turns on on the dash, but no other electrical comes on. No ac or stereo. The car does not even try to turn the starter. I turned the head lights on to see if they are dim, and there is just a small light on. Not sure if this is normal. Tail lights do come on. I'm hoping it's the battery. The dealer said they just put an ignition coil. Not sure if that's related. How can I check if the battery is working? I think it's under the seat. Any ideas or help are greatly appreciated. 90k miles on it btw.

Ok tried a jump to the battery and does the same thing. The weird thing is that the stereo ac etc... Power is not coming on either. Can't figure if it's the ignition tumbler or the key programming. I don't have an extra key to check that.

Sounds like an ignition switch issue from your description.

Thanks for the feedback. I am worried it could be that steering column issue others have threads on in here with the same symptoms. I hope not because that is 3K. Dealer said its likely one of 3 things. Key, Ignition Sensor or switch or the steering column. Getting it towed in later today.
