955 Fuel preasure

So I checked the PSI on each pump by having the fuse pulled on each of the pumps. I noticed that with both fuses in my fuel preasure would bounce from 50-57psi. I then check them individually and it only does this with my primary pump working. When I use the secondary by its self the preasure stays at a steady 57psi. Is my primary pump on its way out?

Did you get pressure with the primary pump?

Yes, it just wasn't solid. It would bounce from 50-57psi where as the secondary pinned it at 57psi.

I'd recommend hooking the car to the computer and checking all the systems and faults. Fuel pumps do not fail too often on CTT's and replacement of fuel pumps are labor intensive.

I have a durametric and checked for faults. The reason I checked the fuel pumps is the car has a stutter accompanied with a poping in the exhaust. It's happening from 3-3,800rpm when it starts boosting.
