18 Inch Wheels on 2008 or 2009 CTT?

Hello Cayenne Pros,

So I am looking to get a 2008 or 2009 Cayenne Turbo. I would prefer a 2009 to take advantage of the updates but I would really like to run 18 inch wheels year round on it. I have heard grumblings about 18 inch wheels not fitting on a 2009 though because of larger brakes fitted to them. For that matter, I cant get anyone to confirm to me that 18s fit on a 2008 either. Can anyone confirm that an 18 inch wheel can fit on a 2008 or 2009 cayenne turbo for sure??

By the way, Tirerack has 18 inch options for both 2008 and 2009 Turbos.

Thanks in advance!

ok great. I know 955 fits 18 inch wheels. I dont need wheels, I just want to know if anyone has fitted 18s to a 2008 or 2009.

Yes they fit on 957 turbo. I run 955 18" winter time on my 957 turbo.

As long as the 957 does not have upgraded 2 piece rotors. 18s do not fit turbo S models either.

Ok great thanks a lot! I looked at the build sheet for the 2008 I was interested in and there is no mention of upgraded rotors. Should be good right?

As for 18s on a 2009 Turbo, a guy on rennlist told me it doesnt work on his so he had to go to 19. I guess he had the updated rotors? Even if thats the case, cant you just "downgrade" the rotors to fit the wheels? Or would the calipers need changing too? Thanks

08 turbo has 368mm rotors. 18 wheels fit fine
09 turbo has 380mm along with turboS. I don't think the 18's fit.
