Air Suspension settings confusion

I have an 06 TT with air suspension and I'm a bit confused with the settings.

My car does not stay lowered when I drive over 5 mph with suspension in sport mode and lowered to the lowest setting. It's cool looking when parked.

Should it stay lowered at speeds above 5 mph??????

No, it won't stay in the "load level" position.

Correct, when your car is in 'load level' you can't drive it. It's meant to make it easier to get in/out of the car and load up the rear. Once you start driving, it goes back to one of the higher levels.

There are many aftermarket plug-in-modules that will allow you to get a better 'lowered' look on the Cayenne. I personally have the TechArt module and love it. It lowers ride-height all around and when your alarm is 'armed' it will additionally lower the car to the 'load level' which is a great feature. I think they also sell lowering links as well. The plug-in modules are a simple install, just remove one access panel in the rear cargo area and swap out the modules. I did not have to bring mine to the dealer for any programming, it was plug-n-ride.

You can also lower your car using the Durametric as well, but if you lower it too much your ride-quality will suffer and your truck will bounce around like a riced-up racer. I did try this with mine (to fine-tune the TechArt settings) and when it got too low it was really uncomfortable when in sport mode.

The only way to drive at loading level (or somewhere similar to it) is if you exceed 120 mph. It lowers to a non-selectable setting for stability at that speed. Kind of difficult to measure how low it gets at that speed though, since it wont stay there once you slow down. Its either loading level or just a touch higher.
