engine hot start difficult

Hi everyone , I have Porsche 955 facelift 4.8 S and when I drive my car longer and stop and after few minutes try to start its take a while to ignited. Also whrn I drive it around 1500 and push the pedal there is some hesitation and erratic behavior.
When I connected to a tester which is not professional gave me an error P0016 and it was written camshaft or crankshaft sensor. I know it is not crankshaft because if it damaged will not start at all. Is it possible camshaft sensor to do this or the problem is more deeper like not correct timing due to extended chain or worn VIT or another name of mechanism who change the valve timing. If you have some drowing on the engine it will be helpful
