It is rated at 600HP/625TQ, but then again my level 2 made over 50LBS more TQ than it was rated at when I was at Champion so I have a feeling its really a bit more! I am thinking about it, we'll see

Hey AMG-ETR.......i spoke with a great guy over at FVD and he expained how their level 2 ECU has much more drivability than the other GIAC/Gemballa/Techart ECU systems....and how its not about peak numbers but substantial power increases over the entire torque band where you need it most....not up top at 170mph......i wanted to hear your experiences with the ECU and if you have ever driven a CTT tuned with a different ECU?? Thanks in advance!!!

Just to let you know so I am not misleading, I do work for FVD USA. My opinion is still the same but I feel you should know that first . I have not driven a CT with any other programs, but have driven other cars with other programs compared to ours and what you were told is usually very true. Our programs do tend to be smoother with a bit less power than the competition.

Care to show a dyno plot?

 

The plots I have are at work and I will not be there untill Friday this week, but they still are not very good as they are HP/TQ vs. MPH instead of RPM.... I have asked Champion MS for different plots many times, but they never come through....

Maybe i spoke with you..... I live up in PA...near Brandywine Porsche......the gentleman i spoke with wanted me to get in touch with someone there and ask about a customer car and potentially having them install my FVD software....unfortunatly i misplaced the paper i had all the information on..... also the gentleman i spoke with used to own a shop in MA.......If this was you could i get that contact info again.....im definatly upgrading my ECU and i want to do as much research as possible......
