2008 gts park assist not working right

out of no where last night i left my house put my guts in drive and the front sensors on both sides maxed out to red and then at the nearest stop sign it did it again. they still pick up objects that are close. But are now coming on randomly on their own.

anyone know why??

Mine does this when the car is dirty, it could be picking up some dirt on the sensors?

Unfortunately that's not the case. I cleaned the sensors individually also washed it. I keep it clean regularly.

It tends to be intermittent. I talked to the local Porsche mechanic he says he needs to run some tests.

I was thinking that there may be some sort of bad connection or corrosion in a plug, Or main connection.

I am going to try and source the main connection and sensor plugs clean them and go from there.

I've also been reading up on "durametric" and "icarsoft" I may purchase one
