Porsche Charge-o-mat Trickle Charger Q.

Hi all can someone help me i have purchased a porsche Charge-o-mat trickle charger and it connects via the cigarette lighter socket and keeps the battery at optimum charge levels

My question is can i use the power socket/cigarette socket in the boot/trunck or does it have to be the cigerette lighter socket in the front ???

Cheers in advance

Guys, sorry to bump an old thread. Is it advisable to keep the charger on the carpet inside the car ? I use the cigarette lighter socket, and the cable from the wall to the charger is slimmer than the charger to the socket thereby causing less damage as it hangs out a closed door. Hope that makes sense !

So is it safe to have the charger inside a closed car ?

Yeah, I always did the same thing for that same reason. No issues
