Reversing lights stuck on

Hi folks
I currently have the reversing lights, camera and mirror dipping function stuck on.
Looking through forums etc I have no clear answer.
It's a tiptronic and I think the switch that operated these functions must be under the selector lever.
More worrying is a post about an ecu fault.
I have had the car just over a week so am pretty new to this.
It's a 4.5 turbo 2003.
Access to a wiring diagram for this part of the circuit would be good if anyone as this please?

The functions for reverse are stuck on but the car still shifts and drives? Not sure this would be applicable as this usually only causes issues with switching or shifting in manual versus auto mode but replacing the "sun shade" on the shifter is pretty easy. There are magnets on it that detect what position the lever is in. I kind of doubt that's what's causing your issue but it could be.

Here is a great tech article on how to replace it. I just recently did mine because a penny fell into the mechanism and screwed it up.

Thanks for the idea.
I will check it out Saturday. Just to dark now after work.
I have also got a flat battery now. (I did plan on changing due to being a sluggish starter). Not sure if the battery is anything to do with the fault (like a water leak or something). I have read a lot about wet patches but the carpets are dry and it does not slosh about when driven. It was stood quite a lot though.

If the battery is dead replace that first. The problem may just go away. These cars seem to do all sorts of odd things when the battery starts going. If the battery doesn't fix it swapping the sunshade part is pretty easy.
