I need to do some exhaust work, and, given its condition, am planning on just replacing the whole thing, including headers, on both sides. Here’s the rub…I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get to the bolts to get the headers off. I’ve tried from underneath and from above, and even the shop manual I have just shows removing the bolts from an illustration of “isolated” headers with no guidance of how to actually get at them to begin with. Looking around here and other sources online hasn’t proven particularly fruitful either. I have to assume someone, somewhere, at some time, has removed them and has an answer to this…ideally with pics .
