My 2008 (MY) Cayenne TT was taken for a short spin today (15 minute 1-way run to the train station). Somewhere halfway on the outbound leg (the engine was properly warmed up), I accelerated briefly on the on-ramp to a freeway.
On the way back, I got the dreaded check engine light blinking and the engine felt a bit rough, as well as the throttle not responding properly. Got home gingerly and hooked it up to the Durametric.

Any ideas or suggestions as to what might be causing this? (meaning: am I looking at new coils and plugs or am I looking at a new engine). Is the car OK to drive to my local shop? Any inputs welcome, please.
