Tire Brand question

Hey everyone. Hope all is fine. I am looking into buying 22" x 9.5 wheels and the guy assured me that the Hankook Ventus RH06 295/30/22 did not have any vibration on this specific wheel size. Are they great tires anyways? What tire seems to outperform the others in all aspects? Thanks- Jon

Have heard good things about Ventus. One of the best features is the generous rim protector flange... however, some here are not fond of the 295-30-22 in general because of the very thin sidewall. Many here will recommend you go to the 285-35-22.

I would personaly want as much sidewall as possible. Don't want to risk bending a rim. I'm on 285-35-22's and no pothole can hurt my rims (only manhole's!!)

Don't do it. 295 tires need a rim at least 10" wide to fit correctly. Go with the 285.

I personally use the Hankook Ventus RH06 (275/40-20) on my CS. See why I highly recommend them below.

-No vibrations (tested @ 125mph)
-All-Season and M+S rated tires
-Meets the Cayenne's recommended tire load rating of 106 XL
-I also took my CS to Tahoe for snowboarding without any traction issues on the snow.
-Paid $150 each (275/40-20) at Big-O-Tires

that's 30.1" tall... I'd be curious to see how it fits. But the 9.5" rim isn't wide enough.
