Question Picking a good detailing shop?

It is hard watch the Cayenne collect tar and grime during these winter months here in Anchorage....looking for an auto detail shop..limited to about 8 places here. Any suggestions what to look for? The dealer offers a detail service too....but when they cleaned the car after the last service, there were some new swirl scratches......maybe I should move to S. Cal.....AK

This is a hard question to answer. I would go and check out every detail shop that you may be interested in and speak with the owner/detailer and see what products he uses and how he works. Does he rush to get as many cars out as possible in a day or does he take his time and charge more. I tend to lean towards the person who takes their time and does the job correctly. In the end, it is a personal decision. You might want to check out www.autopia.org to see if any detailers are reccommended in your area. Hope this helps.
