At least the price wasn't high performance- i still think (IMHO) it's a good deal.

How hard did your ride get when you changed your springs?

Definately a good deal... even better when I think about how much I saved over buying a new Cayenne TT. My wife doesn't want me to trade it in for a TT though and says she is perfectly happy with the power in the car as is.

With the Lowering springs the ride did not get much harsher. Although I put the 22" wheels on a week after the springs so I didn't get much seat time. I will say this.. the truck is very impressive as far as handling is concerned with these springs and wheels. I find myself pushing the car harder through turns than I would have expected it to be able to do. I highly recomend them! For the money they are well worth it...

So, it lowered the car about 1.25"?

The cost of the springs isn't bad at all, how much did the dealer get you for on the labor?

This is the family car now since the Audi is tight with 2 out of 3 kids in boosters until the end of May; I'd hate to make it too hard for them, but they'd love for it to go faster (wonder where they get that from?)

Yup about 1.25-1.5 inch drop... I forget how much I paid for labor but you can expect around 300-500 with a alignment.

My P-car dealer wants $300 just for the alignment- he'd probably want the same for doing the springs.

I wanted to see if anyone here still has ran across a V6 with supercharger or turbo charger. Those pics show the Cayenne engine with single and TT.

I am close to paying off my 06 and was thinking of maybe supercharging it, not too sure about he turbo chargers............I see Audi really doing great things with these engines, getting HP in the 500-600 range......I would do it if the cost is not crushing.

Main concerns would be transmission taking the increased HP......

Would like to get it in the 450 range with a sweet deep solid exhaust sound and kind of a slight supercharger or TT whine going along with it!

The engine is a slightly hopped up VR6 VW power plant, not an Audi V6.

The VW guys are getting all sort of big HP numbers out of VR6 motors. I would try searching on the VWVortex forums or similar. They have but the VR motor mostly in GTI and Jetta platforms, but also a lessser tuned version in the Tour-egg.

Good luck. Any idea if the VR6 Cayenne has the same trans as the turbo/V8 Cayennes? If it does it should handle the power fine.

That is impressive. Not sure that the performance would be worth the price.
