Smile Exhaust for Cayenne V6

Hi Cayenne owners,

I have a cayenne V6 which I would like to improve on the sound. Some choices are the Fabspeed exhause, Cargraphic, Rinspeed, and Techart exhaust systems. But have never heard or seen any of those exhausts installed on a V6 cayenne. Is it possible for a V6 cayenne to have a "growling" sound like the CTTs?

Anyone here has a V6 cayenne with modified exhaust? I need some sound samples so that I can decide on which to purchase. Thanks..

Hello Hendrady, and welcome.
I too was researching the Fabspeed and was told that you get a tinny sound. Str8blst did his V6 a few months back so you might want to see how he likes it after living with it for a while.
I have no knowledge of anyone installing any other brand on a V6, but if you get some good information please do share.

I wouldnt make it very loud, Catbypass pipes seem to be enough and it gives you the growl you are looking for

Techart??

Thanks guys, I have heard the cayenne V6 with catbypass installed, and I am not very interested in the sound quality. The catbypass seems to be giving more "rattling" sound rather than "growling". Anyone agree on this?
Anyway, I realised that Techart also makes sport exhaust system for the V6 (look at attachment), or http://www.cecwheels.com/tuners/prod...ner_brand_id=7 but i'm just not sure if that is the kind of sound I want for my V6.

Yup! I installed the Fabspeed Bypass pipe a few months ago on my wifes Cayenne and she doesn't like the sound at all. I was hoping that the pypass pipe would give the car a more aggressive note and at some RPM's it does. But for the most part it sounds "tinny" and not really right at all on a Porsche. My butt dyno says it added a bit more power, but that may just be a placebo effect... I'm taking off the pipe and going back to stock since my wife drives this everyday and she is not really into the "new" sound....
