$43,895 asking
27,000 miles
good condition
I would put the Champion 22's Rg5B on it, to dress it up.
What do you all think, anything to share?

Hesitation without a CPO warranty.
Make sure all TSB's have been performed.
Fair pricing. Could still run em' down by $1,000 - or have them include an inspection as mentioned below.
When they say "good" condition what down graded it from flawless/showroom to excellent to very good to good?
Have you eyeballed it yet?
If you are set on buying this car and you ink the deal.....you should insist that they pay for a certified full inspection AT the closest Porsche dealership to make sure all is well as a contingency to your purchase.
This will cost them several hours of labor 3-4 @ about $125/hour and tremendous peace of mind on your part.
Good luck

I would definitely agree with Kooser...I think it's best to get a PPI (essentially the same inspection they use for pre-owned certification) on any pre-owned car you're looking to purchase. It'll cost probably between $200-300, but it could save you thousands if the car needs work/maintenance (or worse, has been in an accident).

Check all the brushed aluminum exterior parts and sills for pitting, peeling, etc. A whole bunch of 2004 models had these replaced but I don't think it ever made TSB status, you had to complain to get them replaced. Rear hatch electric latch mechanisms weren't quite perfect and wheel alignment was always something to watch... unless you own a tire store.

for 13k more my friend got a fully loaded brand new CS with nav. + pdc, + sirus sat. + comfort pkg, sunroof, xenon etc. If you are not paying cash then the interest rate difference will make it more like 10k diff.
Plus, i think you have a business, right? wouldn't u benefit from leasing?

Or buy and possibly take advantage of a tax deduction: Section 179 SUV tax deduction, which I greatly benfited from(refer to this link and realize that there have been some changes since 2005, the site has been updated in '06 for recent info)

As the section 179 deduction is a great benefit, if you meet the criteria, this deduction has changed since inception (2003). If you ever plan to deduct the payment (buy/lease), ask an a tax adviser first.
I am not quite sure, but I think the most depreciation you can take on a 6000+ GVWR type SUV/Truck is now capped at 25K on the first year. Before, you were able to deduct the entire amount on the first year.
I agree with both Lil Raja and Kooser, if you meet any of the qualifications of self-employment, go the route of purchasing/leasing new from a dealer.
Best of luck!

no HID/Xenon projection headlights are a REAL minus.... changes the look of the car BIG TIME... check it well... preferably with somebody who drove one for a while to know what's not cooking right
I had problems with my non-bose audio in my cayenne, also big problems with the ventilation system, though it was only one-zone climate control that srewed up. make sure the tires and brakes are good... brakes will kill you if you need to change pads/rotors. make sure oil change is done (by porsche.. get the papers also if ever porsche declines warranty work because they say you never did you oil changes)
