I bought my TT Cab at Chambers from Michael Fernandes. He is a great guy and treated me well. Why did I buy it there? They had it in inventory. I went in with preconceived notions that there was no way I could make a deal with Chambers, but Michael handled the sale great. I haven't taken my car in for service yet, but I would definately consider buying another car from Michael.

 

ESK you are absoloutly correct Michael Fernades is a great guy and treated me with absolute respect. He have also done a lot of favors for me that he is not suppose to do. If you have any problem Michael will take care of it..... and talking about Justin he is really kind to me and takes care of my problems. I dont know why he is in ur bad side deetz

 

Speaking of Michael Fernandez, I had an interesting encounter with him. I was in the Copley garage looking for parking a few weeks ago, and apparently Michael was with another gentleman in a van. They were backing into a space and the person behind them, who was driving a volvo, semed to be very impatient and gave a quick honk. Michael immediately put the car in park and got out of the van. He then proceeded to yell at the guy in the volvo very loudly, "Keep goin with your piece of **** Volvo. How much is that crap worth?? 13 thousand, 14 thousand?? Piece of ****!!"

I was right behind the guy in the volvo and heard everything as i drove by. The guy in the volvo just shook his head and drove off. Just an interesting story I thought I'd share since the topic of Herb Chambers came up.

 

I do not know who Michael is, I am sure he is a nice guy since every one of you says so.

But Justin? hm.. Jamy, remember that time when you called the Porsche road assistance and none took care of you? You kept calling Justin? I was there next to Justin, picking up my car, are you sure he took care of your car? What about the steering problem? If he did, that was not supposed to happen

Justin is alright when you just go there to do the regular service. But if you ask for more, e.g asking for a loaner car, he will give you a headache.

 

Justin is a good guy with me....

 

What if there is something wrong with your car? and he gives you a cheapskate loaner car? what will you do? I'm sure you'll be angry too right? and this is happening to me

 

I never got a loaner from them...I didnt buy my car at Chambers so I never complain about that...

The porsche road assistance has nothing whats so ever to do with herb chambers so you cant blame them for that. and talking about the steering problem im happy for what they did to me because they fixed my car and the garage for free and also got a check from them.... so no complaints

 

msindi: for normal service I do not blame much about that place, but I remember that they didn't fix some of my car's problems, but I'm alright with it, they are just little problems, but for yesterday's case, I'm really sad about this, I guess you know how I feel

Jamy85: yes they did pay for your taxi fares, fixed the problem and the garage, but he fixed it after you banged the door right? and you complained before that and nothing was actually done

 

if the service is really bad call PCNA to let them know.

Nothing is going to happen to Chambers. The guy sells so many cars it is rediculous. Porsche would never pull the plug on that setup on Comm Ave. Chambers is great for getting cars ASAP, as they have the cash to stock evertyhing, but their service is terrible. From what I have experienced, their salesman are very rude and do not work on anything with you. Very cut and dry and their prices are not low.

Buying a car at a dealership has nothing to do with getting a loaner. BMW Gallery in Norwood has given people who did not buy their car from there a 745 as a loaner for their 5 series when it is in the shop. Just because you did not buy a car there, does not mean they have the right to give no loaner. Especially considering the money they get for warranty repair from Porsche.

 

I just called PCNA and no changes, the PCNA guy referred me to the Manager from Herb Chambers. And the guy he referred me to is Justin Becker, the one with the bad attitude and never give me any respect.

I called Herb Chambers several times to ask when I can pick up my car, but I was not able to talk to Justin because the receptionist said that he was with a client, or he was on the phone and the receptionist asked me to leave Justin a message.

I did that several times before, the result is, he NEVER called me back. Not even once!! I told the receptionist that Justin never call me back and she asked for my phone number and my message for Justin. I told her about when I can pick up my car, but up till now I do not get any information.

So let me list down all the poor service Justin gives me.

1. Give me the attitude problem everytime I go for service
2. He gave me 5k worth of loaner car
3. Asked for my bro's credit card number
4. Called him so many times and he never call me back
5. Promised to provide me with some information on when I can pick up my car, no information was given

This is the worst experience I've had in my life and I want to share this with everyone so you will not be the second victim or probably not the second one.

So Herb Chambers Porsche Service quality, I rate this as 0/10.

Maybe you should try talking directly to George Chambers. Ive talked to him a few times and he seems like a decent guy. Good luck with your situation.
